The Friendsgiving event was a feast for the senses and a whole lot of fun! With a Thanksgiving-themed dinner that had everyone's taste buds dancing, a lively photo booth for striking silly poses, and free-flowing hot chocolate to keep spirits warm.

Pop-up alert! On September 7, 12, and 13, Columbia Dining Plan Holders and Barnard Dining Plan Holders can use their meal swipes at Terry and Yaki, the first and only halal Asian food cart in NYC. Their menu will include a delicious variety of meat and plant-based teriyaki dishes.

What does the celebration of Black History Month look like to a food-driven organization? For Columbia Dining, it's an opportunity to celebrate the many contributions made to the culinary world by Black Chefs both within and beyond our team. 

Five Dining Halls. Two awards. One trophy. One champion belt. On February 28 at 1:00 p.m. in Lerner Auditorium, there'll be an epic food showdown and all Columbia Dining Plan Holders are invited to attend.

On February 7, we welcomed Chef Chris Scott of Butterfunk Biscuit Co. to John Jay Dining Hall. Chef Scott sampled his signature biscuit sandwiches and fried biscuit donuts. If you're like us and couldn't get enough (or you missed out), you can find Chef Scott and Butterfunk Biscuit Co. at Manhattanville Market in the Jerome L. Greene Science building. 

T'was the season to be merry! We love *everything* about the holidays: the food, the decorations, and the festive spirit. That's why we threw not one, not two, but THREE epic parties for the 2022 holiday season.

Get to know our management staff over a delicious cup of hot cocoa! Our managers will be hosting hour-long meet-and-greet sessions at each dining hall. Use this opportunity to ask questions about dining operations, or just to meet our managers. Plus, students who introduce themselves can enter into a raffle for a NEW Chef Mike's Sub Shop T-shirt!

If you could add one dish to our menu, what would it be? We love receiving student requests and try to incorporate them into our menu wherever possible. You can even submit a specific recipe!

We sifted through more than 350 submissions to find the most delicious ideas for new subs at Chef Mike's Sub Shop. There were many contenders, but only the best of the best deserve to be served at Chef Mike's! 

Based on feedback from our most popular menus, Faculty House features fresh fish each day, plus a meat and vegan entrée, and sides of pasta, veggies, starches, grains, and salads – and don’t forget fruit or dessert!

We're serving up subs like Chef Mike’s own grandmother used to make. Every day offers a selection of hot and cold traditional or vegan oversized sub specials, served on semolina rolls.

Flex is accepted on campus, at the University Bookstore, and at several local businesses including grocery stores, restaurants, health and drug stores. Plus, now Flex can be used for delivery orders through Grubhub.
