Dining Plan Comparison

Dining Plans

There are 3 sets of dining plans available to Columbia University students. The first is available to first-year students only, specifically designed to encourage community building among new students. All first-years are required to enroll in one of four dining plans, each of which are comprised of a varying number of meals, served in John Jay Dining Hall, and Dining Dollars, which can be used anywhere on campus.

First-Year Dining Plans 2008-2009

For our upperclass, general studies and graduate students, we also offer four dining plans from which to choose, comprised of a varying number of meals to enjoy at John Jay Dining Hall. To supplement the meals, students often choose to open a Dining Dollars and/or Flex account that can be used at 13 of our on-campus dining locations.
